The beach is absolutely fantastic, much better than Nice (there`s actual sand!) The people are super-friendly and it`s safe, relaxing, and fun. June is a great month to go--after the film festival but before the high vacation season, it`s not that crowded (we never had to wait for tables at restaurants or to get into bars or clubs), and prices at hotels tend to be lower.
